a tiny, heartfelt composition
You might be asking what happened to FRG? How come we don’t write as much as we used to? So here’s my deal: I get this huge mental block whenever I start to write a post. It’s weird ’cause I can still write in my journal, in fact I’ve never written so much as I have in the past couple of months. I’m learning a lot and so I have a lot to write about, but it’s personal stuff and most of it I don’t want to share it with the whole world. However some things I can and want to share with the whole world, but if I don’t do so right away then I forget all about it. Anyway, I’m going to be more spontaneous with my future posts so that I never feel constrained to write a certain way, then maybe I won’t get a writer’s block everytime I want to blog about something.
Today, I wrote a little poem about what to do if someone is making a big scene about something small.
Turning a Mountain Back Into a Molehill
When somebody near you caused a big scene
Or made a huge deal out of a small thing,
Pause! Just keep your cool and remain serene.
Allow that person to blow off some steam.
Don’t pay much attention to what they say,
And if they insult you, just turn away.
Then make it clear that this is not okay,
you’ll not abide being treated this way.
Try to not make it public chastisement,
And you must please leave out all mal-intent,
Else you’ll make the big scene worse than before
And risk being marked its instigator.
Hi Erik!
I hope that you are doing well! I know that it’s difficult to find the time to write ….especially with all of the daily distractions from friends, school and work!
Take care!
Bonjour, Ha ce que j’ai compris, je trouve que vous vous débrouillez bien..Bon rythme à lire. Le fond comme la forme, j’apprécie beaucoup. Salutations.
Thank you Personne and thank you too Jenni! I love it when someone appreciates my writing! You’re both great supporters.
